What is e-SWAP?
e-SWAP is an online application which is develop to facilitate sewerage approval process at Indah Water Konsortium Sdn Bhd- Certifying Agency (CA). By using this application, Qualified Person (QP) will no longer required to walk-in to CA offices to submit their sewerage development plan.
How e-SWAP can be achieved?
Google or Search http://eservices.iwk.com.my/eSWAP/ or Indah Water Konsortium Sdn Bhd website on the Internet through your computer.
Select Developer.
Click on the link e-SWAP.
Register as a user.
Select the functions or services you need.
What is the main item in e-SWAP?
The main item is the e-submission in which the applicant will need to register, upload and submit applications and e-processing in which the agencies of internal and external technical process applications.
What is the item for e-SWAP?
There are two items when user log in e-SWAP which is profile and projects. The items under profile is inbox, profile and change password. And the the item under projects for e-SWAP is new application, ongoing submission and approved/comment submission.
Who applicant to e-SWAP?
The applicant is a qualified person who submits an application/submission of PDC Rules or SWAT submission to respective CA Units in accordance with provisions of relevant acts, including architects, engineers, planners, land surveyor and draftsman of the building.
Who are e-SWAP user?
E-SWAP users are:
Applicants include, Town Planner, Chartered Architects, Engineers, Chartered Surveyors, Building and draftsman.
Certifying Agency Units that processes the submissions.
Is the format of plans and documents to be uploaded?
The plans and documents to be uploaded in PDF format
Why in PDF format and not CADD file?
Application files are smaller and lighter and does not burden the system and storage
Are hardcopy still needed in implementing the e-SWAP?
1 to 3 complete sets of documents and plans need to be submitted at the stage of delivery as proof of submission and in the endorsement on the plans after the submission had been approved.
When hardcopy submitted?
Within 3 days after the submission had been approved and email had been received.
Is e-signature approach used in e-SWAP?
At this stage, the applicant is still required to sign off on hardcopy sent as a proof of submission, and the plans were ready to be endorsed for formal approval issued e-signature will be dealt with in the next phase of improvements.
How many days taken by the Certifying Agencies Unit for processing the applications?
The processing days are as follows:
PDC 1 (Planning) : 14 days
PDC 2 (Design) : 21 days
PDC 7 (Intermediate Inspection) : 14 days
PDC 8 (Final Inspection) : 14 days
SWA (Sewerage Work Approval) : 14 days
SWC (Sewerage Work Completion) : 7 days
